         Подвиды Nemachilus barbatulus (Linne): в Сибири toni, в Тереке caucasicus, в р. Вардаре vardarensis Karaman, 1928. В оз. Охрида sturanyi Steind. В Закавказье и Средней Азии другие виды. Нерест в апреле и мае.
